Title: Design of an electron gun for a 42 GHz, 200 kw, TE52 mode gyrotron using the BFCRAY code

Abstract: This paper describes the design of a magnetron injection gun (MIG) for a 42GHz, 200 kW CW gyrotron operating in the TE5,2 mode. The design was performed using the BFCRAY code. The basic motivation is discussed and the design of the MIG is presented. © 2000 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
