Title: An algorithm for simulating ECG signals

Abstract: The paper presents an algorithm for simulating electrocardiogram (ECG) signals for different leads under normal and abnormal conditions. For normal conditions, signals for all the 12 (twelve) standard leads can be generated with noise and without noise. For inclusion of noise, different possible sources of noise are considered. Under abnormal condition, the different classes of heart blocks and arrhythmia are incorporated. The algorithm developed here can be very useful in verifying and comparing different ECG signal processing techniques.
