Title: Enhancement of Light Absorption in Gold Nanoparticles Embedded Methylammonium Lead Iodide Perovskite Film

Abstract: We present the inclusion of gold-nanoparticles of different sizes, and compositions as absorption enhancers in methyl-ammonium lead iodide (MAPbI3) perovskite films, with the aim of establishing some guidelines for the future development of plasmonic resonance-based photovoltaic devices. We observe that the hybrid perovskites present the high absorption coefficient for low concentration and small size of gold-nanoparticles. This study is important for the selection of matched concentration and size of gold nanoparticles to design the efficient plasmon-enhanced photovoltaic applications. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
