Abstract: The Operational Floating Current Conveyer (OFCC) is a versatile active block combining the features of second-generation current conveyer, current feedback operational amplifier and operational floating conveyer. It additionally provides high and low, output and input impedance terminals respectively. This paper presents voltage and current mode OFCC based Semi Gaussian (SG) shaper. The functionality of the proposed circuit is tested via SPICE simulations and calculation of performance indicators including output noise and signal to noise ratio (SNR) verifies the proficiency of the circuit. The performance is also examined for tolerance in resistors through Monte Carlo simulations and results are found satisfactory. © 2016 IEEE.
