Title: Few-mode erbium-doped fiber amplifier

Abstract: Few-mode fiber is emerging as an attractive option in an SDM system. EDFA for a few-mode fiber has an issue of differential modal gain (DMG) among its modes. We present EDFA designs to obtain customized DMG. © OSA 2016.
