Abstract: An optimal design method for MAXFLAT FIR filters is proposed hare. A polynomial mapping approach is used to search the optimal order of filter and required flatness at w=O and W=π. Explicit expressions for computation of to-efficients of low pass filters are tried here. The algorithms to transform low pass co-efficients into high pass, band pass and band rejection are proposed. © 1990 IEEE.
