Abstract: This paper presents the design of multiple beams generation by switched beam antenna systems employing an E-shaped microstrip antenna. The designed antennas have bandwidth of 20%, 32% and 45% and gain of 8 dB, 10 dB and 12 dB respectively with single, 2 and 4 element antennas. ©2006 IEEE.
