Title: A new way to encode and exchange information in free-space

Abstract: In this study we show that spectral anomalies shown by spatially coherent light on diffraction in the form of spectral shifting and spectral switching may be exploited for information encoding, information hiding and free-space communications. ©2007 IEEE.
