dc.description.abstractHydrocracking unit is used to achieve tighter products from the heavier refinery feed oil. A model was developed to optimize the process unit. Because the hydrocracking feed contains large number of heavy hydrocarbons, the conversion of these feed followed typical reaction pathways. Feed and some heavier products converted into other lighter products at high space time. The effects of temperature on the kinetic modeling were discussed. This is an abstract of a paper presented at the 8th World Congress of Chemical Engineering (Montreal, Quebec, Canada 8/23-27/2009).-
