Title: Another look at SCS-CN method

Abstract: The Soil Conservation Service-curve number (SCS-CN) method is analytically derived and its basis in the Mockus method analyzed. A modification and a general form of the SCS-CN method are proposed. Using data from five watersheds, the existing SCS-CN method, the proposed modification, and the Mockus method are compared.
