| Abstract: | Handsheets from commercial bleached pulps of hardwood, bagasse, and softwood were prepared in a laboratory sheet former. The sheets were evaluated for several printability parameters such as ink-transfer, print density, print through and printing smoothness. The sheets could be graded in order of increasing printability as softwood, bagasse and hardwood. |
